TWO YEARS AFTER partying up a storm with them in Dublin, Daniel Radcliffe has thrown a few Galleons in the post as a thank you to his old pals, the Dublin minor football team.
You may recall the excitement when it emerged that the Harry Potter actor had ended up at a house party with the Dublin minors after their All-Ireland win in 2012.
Look at them there. The lads.
He even drank out of the cup.
While over to promote a film last month, Dan met up with them again – and got a personalised jersey for his efforts.
Today former Dublin minor centre-back Conor Mullally tweeted this picture of a note (and €50) from Daniel, paying the team back for spotting his taxi fare all those years ago. What a sound chap.
Hi guys – so, thanks again for paying for my cab! I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t honour my word and pay you back. Once again great meeting you all. Hope this covers it! Dan R
Dan Rad, proving once again that he’s among the nicest guys in show business. Come back any time, Daniel. We’re more than happy to have you.
